Travel Management Expert with French
Purpose:
This role will report to the according Shared Service Center and GPO function and will be responsible for functional leadership and operational excellence in regional Travel Management. Furthermore, this role will be responsible for the regional ownership of travel regulations and processes. He/she leads and develops regional Travel Management related guidelines, policies and processes to ensure the effective execution according the global standard in terms of the services as well as continuous process optimization and effective change management. He/she will act as the liaison between local legal entity/divisional needs, the regional Shared Service Centers (SSC) and the GPO function.
Key Tasks:
- Define and ensure implementation of global steering measures for Business Travel
- Responsible for local/regional travel related regulations and operational travel process excellence
- Support local travel procedure update and ensure harmonized travel regulations are implemented
- Maintain relations with internal customers/vendors, business partnering with divisions
- Drive proactive stakeholder management (e.g. compliance, risk management, & procurement)
- Install communication channels (e.g. Mobility Portal) according global travel management guidelines
- Support travel related training by preparing training materials
- Analytical review of regional travel management KPI´s and propose improvement measures
- Lead/support in global/local projects and sourcing activities according to activity split
- Proactive contribution in global travel community
- Monitoring of system (e.g. OBT) performance and set-up
- Handling escalations from all travel related topics, provide solutions and feedbacks
- Work with PRO to review vendor performance and conduct regular vendor meeting to give feedbacks based on the travels escalation and survey results
- Taking global travel KPI performance regionally into consideration for potential improving
- Lead/support travel related projects by supporting in data analysis (e.g. business case)
- Market observation around business travel and mobility issues in the region
Qualification & Competencies:
- Minimum of 3+ years experiences in Travel (Management / Agency), Fleet, Event Management or Corporate/Transactional Accounting and Procurement
- Proven experience with leading or supporting major global or local projects
- Strong collaboration, communication and presentation competencies
- Proven problem-solving skills and process optimization experience
- Know-How of global/local travel management processes
- Experience with relevant IT systems like travel booking tools (e.g. Concur, cytric)
- Understanding of interfaces (e.g. HR data feed) and related back-end systems
- Team player (m/f) with professional appearance
- High level of customer and service orientation
- Ability to challenge the status quo and to embrace change
- Fluent English skills both in the spoken and written form
