For our newly established IT Hub, we are looking for:

IT Architect

Global Job purpose
IT Architect translates the Pharma Strategy and Cloud Strategy into technology solutions to delivery of better business outcomes. Consequently, the IT architect drives change that creates business opportunities through technology innovation and architecture. The Cloud Architect provides insights, thought leadership and advice, partners with business and technology leaders to ensure that created solutions meet business goals. The I Architect ensures that the IT solutions are designed for production in a GxP environment, can be delivered in a secure, compliant, efficient way and allow for re-use.

You will be responsible for:
 

• Strong experience with cloud architecture – AWS
• Design of new cloud application (use case) architectures
• Evolvement of existing use case architectures and architecture reviews
• Architecture assessments of new technologies / AWS and third party services
• Select and provide advice for strategic themes like AI, DevOps, microservices, Cloud-native solutions, such as Glue, Stepfunctions, etc., stream processing, e.g. Kafka, Spark Streaming, etc.
• Colaboration with our engineering teams to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based services
• Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle for AWS solutions, including planning requirements, development and quality assurance. Create architectural artifacts (reference architectures, blueprints, policies, guidelines etc.)
• Create roadmaps for IT landscape/parts

We would expect from you :
 

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other related field
• 5+ years of experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on cloud platforms (preferred AWS)
• Experience leading data modeling and architecture design efforts, including designing logical and physical models for datasets
• Proven experience modeling large datasets in distributed databases such as Snowflake
• Proficiency in working with relational databases such as Postgres, Oracle, etc.
• Desired experience with:
• Cloud-native solutions, such as Glue, Stepfunctions, etc.
• Stream processing, e.g. Kafka, Spark Streaming, etc.
• Knowledge of machine learning or other data science practices
• Fluent in English – both written and spoken
• Strong interpersonal skills and desire to work in a highly collaborative environment
• Collaborate with Product Owners, other engineers and data stewards within the team and across data, technical platforms and product teams
